INFINITY Corporation has introduced a new programmable composite salt spray test chamber designed to simulate and increase the environmental impact of exposure to metal materials with salt contamination and accelerated corrosion in the outdoor atmosphere. The equipment includes test methods for cyclic exposure of samples to salt spray, dry, wet and hot environments.

Compared with the traditional accelerated corrosion tests such as neutral salt spray test (NSS), acetate spray test (AASS) and copper accelerated acetate spray test (CASS), the biggest advantage of the test chamber is that it can reproduce the corrosion in outdoor salt polluted environment better. It is also suitable for accelerated corrosion tests, such as metals and their alloys, metal coatings (anode and negative polarity), conversion coatings, anodic oxidation coatings, organic coatings on metal materials, etc.
